On October 22, UO Chinese Philanthropic Leadership Association held a showcase at 6:00 pm in Lawrence Hall 166. The showcase showed guests about this summer project, which has been successfully implemented in Guang An Village, Hunan Province in China. In this project, CPLA had convened 21 volunteers, which includes CPLA members, UO students, 1 Global Oregon staff and 1 Chinese Flagship member. Most of the project volunteers attended this showcase, besides, there are also several departments of professors. CPLA Program Officer Zheng Pu showed guests an awesome presentation about the process of this summer project. And, with a documentary video, the guests could easily get involved in this program and see what the volunteers do in the project. Furthermore, this is the most successful showcase CPLA ever made. Congratulations! CPLA will continue trying to make improvements for next year’s project.
